4.3.19. Check of technical condition of details of a forward suspension bracket on the car

You carry out all checks and works from below the car installed on the elevator or a viewing ditch (with the hung-out forward wheels).
At each maintenance and repair it is necessary to check a condition of protective covers of spherical support of a suspension bracket, on covers there should not be mechanical damages.
Find out whether is not present on details of a suspension bracket of cracks or traces of a zadevaniye against road obstacles or a body, deformation of levers, bars of the stabilizer and its racks, body front details in places of fastening of knots and details of a suspension bracket.
Check a condition of rubber-metal hinges, rubber pillows, spherical hinges of a suspension bracket, and also a condition (draft) of the top support of telescopic racks of a suspension bracket.
Rubber-metal hinges and rubber pillows are subject to replacement at gaps and a unilateral vypuchivaniye of rubber, and also when cutting their face surfaces.

The arrangement of elements of a forward suspension bracket on the car is shown in fig. 4.2.
On rubber details of a suspension bracket are not allowed:
– rubber aging signs;
– mechanical damages.
On rubber-metal hinges are not allowed:
– signs of aging, crack, unilateral vypuchivaniye of the rubber massif;
– lead of the rubber massif over fittings.
Replace faulty details.

Prevention
Pay special attention to mechanical damages (deformations, cracks, etc.) suspension bracket elements, especially levers.

1. Check a condition of protective covers of spherical support. If covers are damaged, replace spherical support assembled.
2. Shaking a wheel in the vertical plane, check spherical support for existence of side plays. If there are side plays of spherical fingers, replace support.

Good advice
When rocking of the hung-out forward wheel it is difficult to distinguish side plays in bearings of naves and in spherical support. Ask the assistant to press a brake pedal: if in this case feel a side play, then spherical support are faulty.

3. Check for lack of a side play lobbies...
4.... and back saylentblok in places of fastening of levers to a stretcher.
5. Check a condition of rubber pillows in places of fastening of racks of the stabilizer of cross resistance to the suspension bracket lever...
6.... and a condition of plugs in the place of fastening of a bar of the stabilizer to a rack.
7. Check a condition of rubber pillows in places of fastening of a bar of the stabilizer of cross resistance to a stretcher.
8. Check a condition of the protection cover of a damping rack.
9. Lift a protective cover and check the shock-absorber for tightness. Begin to flow liquids are not allowed.
10. Replace the faulty or damaged details.
