4.3.1. Check and adjustment of a tension of a belt of the drive of the pump of the hydraulic booster of steering
It will be required to you: keys "on 10", "on 13", a six-sided key "on 8".
1. Remove protection of a case of the engine (see. "Removal and installation of protection of a case of the engine").
2. Remove the right forward wheel (see. "Replacement of a wheel").

3. Press a thumb on a belt of the drive of the pump of the hydraulic booster of steering in the middle between pulleys of a bent shaft and the pump. The deflection has to make 5–8 mm at effort of 100 N (10 kgfs). Check a condition of a belt external survey. If on a belt signs of strong wear are found or the belt is greasy, it needs to be replaced (see. "Replacement of a belt of the drive of the pump of the hydraulic booster of steering"). If the deflection of a belt differs from the specified value...

4.... weaken a key "on 13" an inhaling of a bolt of back lower fastening...

5.... and nuts of forward lower fastening of the pump.
|
6. A six-sided key "on 8" weaken an inhaling of a bolt of the top fastening of the pump...

7.... and rotation of an adjusting bolt (a key "on 10") achieve the required belt tension.
8. Tighten bolts and a nut of fastening of the pump of the hydraulic booster of steering.
9. Establish into place protection of a case of the engine.
