Signs of malfunction of the regulator of pressure of fuel:

– unstable operation of the engine;

– the engine becomes deaf idling;

– the increased or lowered frequency of rotation of a bent shaft idling;

– the engine does not develop full capacity;

– the increased fuel consumption.

Serviceability of the regulator is determined by fuel pressure in a fuel stage at the working engine (see. "Check of pressure in a power supply system").

If pressure is lower or higher than norm, and other elements of system are serviceable, then the regulator is faulty. It needs to be replaced as it is not maintainable.

The regulator of pressure of fuel is installed in the fuel module.

It will be required to you: all tools necessary for removal of the module of the fuel pump (see. "Replacement of the module of the fuel pump"), and also stripper of lock rings.

1. Remove the module of the fuel pump (see. "Replacement of the module of the fuel pump").	2. Disconnect the plug of a "mass" wire from the fuel pressure regulator.

3. Unclench a regulator clamp...	4.... also take it from an arm of the module of the fuel pump.

5. Take the fuel pressure regulator from a module saddle.

6. Establish details as it should be, the return to removal.
