The arrangement of devices and signaling devices in a combination of devices is shown in fig. 1.7.

In a combination of devices the following devices and signaling devices are installed.

1 – the index of temperature of cooling liquid in the engine cooling system. The red zone warns about an engine overheat. If the arrow passed into a red zone, it is necessary to stop, allow to the engine to cool down and remove the overheat cause.

2 – index of level of fuel of the electromagnetic principle of action. The red zone means the reserve rest of fuel.

3 – the control lamp of inclusion of the left index of turn (in the form of an arrow with the light filter of green color) lights up the blinking light at inclusion of the left index of turn (synchronously with it). The blinking of a control lamp with the doubled frequency demonstrates burn-out of a lamp in any index of the left turn.

4 – control lamp of inclusion of dimensional lighting. Lights up at inclusion of dimensional lighting.

5 – the alarm lamp of turning on of the parking brake (with the light filter of red color) lights up at the included ignition at the lifted lever of the parking brake.

6 – speedometer. Shows with what speed the car moves at present. The scale is graduated by from 0 to 220 km/h, the price of division of 5 km/h.

7 – the alarm lamp of open doors (with the light filter of red color) lights up at inclusion of ignition if one of doors is open at least.

8 – the control lamp of inclusion of driving beam of headlights (with the light filter of blue color) lights up at inclusion of driving beam of headlights.

9 – the control lamp of inclusion of the right index of turn (in the form of an arrow with the light filter of green color) lights up the blinking light at inclusion of the right index of turn (synchronously with it). The blinking of a control lamp with the doubled frequency demonstrates burn-out of a lamp in any index of the right turn.

10 – the tachometer of electronic type shows the frequency of rotation of a bent shaft of the engine. The scale has divisions from 0 to 7, the price of division 0,5. To learn the frequency of rotation of a bent shaft in ^min.-1, it is necessary to increase indications of a tachometer for 1000.

11 – button of control of hours. For the control choice press hour/min. the button. After that for setting up indications press the button and hold it within several seconds.

Prevention Do not press the button during the movement of the car.

12 – the counter of a total run united with hours. The counter of a total run shows the general way passed by the car. After the run of 1 000 000 km the new cycle of counting begins.

13 – an alarm lamp of malfunction of a safety cushion (with the light filter of red color). Lights up at inclusion of ignition if there was a malfunction in system of a safety cushion.

Prevention At fire of an alarm lamp immediately address to car service. Besides possible refusal of a pillow in an emergency, it can unexpectedly work during the movement that will lead to serious consequences.

14 – an alarm lamp of a control system of the engine (with the light filter of yellow color). Lights up at inclusion of ignition and burns during launch of the engine. Right after launch of the engine the lamp has to go out. Fire of a lamp at the working engine indicates malfunction in a control system of the engine. In this case the control unit passes to the reserve program that allows to continue the movement. At fire of a lamp it is necessary to check an electronic control unit by means of function of self-diagnostics and to eliminate malfunction.

Prevention Long operation of the car with the burning lamp is not recommended as can lead to increase in fuel consumption, deterioration in traction characteristics of the car and breakages of the engine.

15 – the alarm lamp of the minimum reserve of fuel in a tank (with the light filter of yellow color) lights up at the fuel rest in a tank less than 10 l.

Prevention Whenever possible avoid driving on the reserve rest of fuel. Work of an electrogasoline pump in the absence of continuous supply of fuel with hit in system of air will lead to a pump exit out of operation!

16 – the alarm lamp of the category of the rechargeable battery (with the light filter of red color) lights up at inclusion of ignition. Right after launch of the engine the lamp has to go out. Burning of a lamp or its luminescence dimly at the working engine indicates the lack of charging current caused by malfunction of the generator or regulator of tension, and also a weak tension (or break) a generator drive belt.

Prevention The movement of the car with the burning lamp is forbidden as, besides the full category of the rechargeable battery, it can indicate short circuit in charging chain which can lead to the fire.

17 – an alarm lamp of not fastened seat belt of the driver (with the light filter of red color). Lights up at inclusion of ignition and dies away after fastening of a seat belt of the driver.

18 – the alarm lamp of emergency pressure drop of oil (with the light filter of red color) lights up at inclusion of ignition and warns that pressure in the lubrication system of the engine is lower than norm. Right after launch of the engine the lamp has to go out.

Prevention The movement of the car with the burning lamp is forbidden as will lead to breakage of the engine.

19 – an alarm lamp of an overheat of the engine (with the light filter of red color). If the lamp lit up, it is necessary to stop, allow to the engine to cool down and remove the overheat cause.

20 – an alarm lamp of malfunction of anti-blocking system of brakes (with the light filter of yellow color). Functions if the car is equipped with anti-blocking system. Lights up at the included ignition and dies away in several seconds.

Prevention If the lamp does not die away at the included ignition and at the movement, address to car service as braking in all cases will happen without participation of anti-blocking system.
