The Chery Amulet car of small middle class (a class C on the international classification) is assembled on LLC Avtotor (Kaliningrad) since April, 2006 in three complete sets: A15 I, A15 II, A15 III.

A15 I complete set — basic, with the minimum level of equipment. It includes a full-size spare wheel, the conditioner, the hydraulic booster of steering, the steering column regulated on height, audiopreparation (loudspeakers, the antenna and all necessary conducting) and fog lights.

On cars in A15 II complete set in addition put electrowindow regulators, the central lock and light-alloy wheels of wheels.

A15 III complete set, besides listed, includes the electric drive of adjustment of mirrors, the CD player, anti-blocking system of brakes (ABS) and a safety cushion of the driver and the forward passenger.

In this book the car in the fullest complete set of A15 III is described.

Cars of all complete sets equip with the petrol four-cylinder engine located across a motor compartment with the distributed system of injection of fuel with a working volume of 1,6 l, the SOHC type (with one camshaft and 8 valves), 69 kW (94 h.p.).

Type body the five-door hatchback bearing, all-metal, a welded design with hinged forward wings, doors, a cowl and door of a back. Windshield and glass of a door of a back pasted. The seats of the driver and the forward passenger regulated in the longitudinal direction and on a back tilt angle are equipped with head restraints. The back seat is also equipped with head restraints for side passengers. The back of a back seat can be cast away forward in parts in a proportion 40:60.

Transmission is executed according to the front-wheel scheme with drives of forward wheels of different length. Cars are equipped with the mechanical five-speed transmission.

Forward suspension bracket like McPherson, independent, spring, with the stabilizer of cross stability, with hydraulic damping racks. A back suspension bracket semi-dependent, spring, with hydraulic shock-absorbers.

Brake mechanisms of forward wheels disk, with a floating bracket, back — drum, with the device of automatic adjustment of gaps between brake shoes and drums. Depending on a complete set cars can be equipped with anti-blocking system of brakes (ABS).

Steering is safety, with the steering gear wheel lath mechanism, it is equipped by the hydraulic amplifier and the steering column regulated on a tilt angle. In a nave of a steering wheel the safety cushion is established.

Part of the released cars equip with window regulators of forward and back doors with the electric drive.

All cars are equipped with inertial three-point seat belts for the driver, the forward passenger and extreme passengers on a back seat. For the average passenger on a back seat the zone belt is provided.
