Repair of the shock-absorber of a telescopic rack usually does not result in desirable result therefore if necessary we recommend to replace the shock-absorber.

You will need a key "on 17".

1. Remove a damping rack from the car (see. "Removal and installation of a damping rack of a back suspension bracket").	2. Remove a persistent washer if it was not removed right after removal of a damping rack from the car from a shock-absorber rod.

3. Clamp a rod for lysk on its end in a vice, weaken an inhaling of a nut of fastening of the lower pillow and, having released a rod from a vice, completely screw together a nut from a carving part of a rod.

Note Length of a carving part of a rod is enough for full removal of effort of a spring therefore preliminary installation of couplers on a spring is not required.

4. Remove the lower pillow...

Note Replace strongly pressed out or hardened pillow.

5.... the top cup of a spring together with rubber laying...

Note Replace strongly pressed out or hardened laying.

6.... persistent washer...	7.... the compression buffer assembled with a protective cover...

Note At damage of the buffer of compression or a protective cover replace knot new.

8.... and spring.

9. Install the shock-absorber vertically and several times against the stop lower and lift a shock-absorber rod. Make sure that the rod moves without failures, jammings and knocks. Otherwise replace the shock-absorber. Besides, replace the shock-absorber at detection of traces of dribble of liquid (the insignificant otpotevaniye in the top part of the case is allowed) and at damage of a carving to the top part of a rod.

Prevention Replace shock-absorbers only with couples (right and left at the same time).

10. Collect a damping rack as it should be, the return to dismantling. A nut of fastening of the lower pillow tighten the moment of 15 N · m.

11. Install a damping rack on the car (see. "Removal and installation of a damping rack of a back suspension bracket").
