7.2.1. Features of a design

Fig. 7.3. Back suspension bracket: 1 – damping racks of a back suspension bracket; 2, 6 – longitudinal levers of a back suspension bracket; 3, 5 – arms of fastening of a beam of a back suspension bracket to a body; 4 – beam of a back suspension bracket

Back suspension bracket (fig. 7.3) semi-independent, lever and spring with the longitudinal levers pivotally fixed on a body of the car and connected among themselves by a cross beam of U-shaped section.
The beam 4 back suspension brackets consists of two longitudinal levers 2 and 6 and a connector which are welded among themselves through amplifiers. In a back part arms with eyes for fastening of shock-absorbers, and also flanges to which pins of back wheels together with boards of brake mechanisms are attached are welded on levers of a suspension bracket. Ahead plugs in which saylentblok are pressed are welded on levers of a suspension bracket.
Through saylentblok there pass the bolts connecting suspension bracket levers to the stamped and welded arms 3 and 5 attached to the body basis by bolts.
In a beam of a suspension bracket the stabilizer of cross stability of the torsion type is installed.
Basic element of a back suspension bracket is the telescopic damping rack combining functions of the podressorivayushchy mechanism and the damping element of vertical fluctuations of a wheel concerning a body. On a damping rack are collected...
... twisted cylindrical spring of 4 (fig. 7.4)...

Fig. 7.4. Damping rack of a back suspension bracket: 1 – the lower pillow of fastening of a damping rack to a body; 2 – compression buffer; 3 – protective cover; 4 – spring; 5 – telescopic shock-absorber

... the lower pillow of 1 fastening of a rack to a body through which load of a car body is transmitted...
... the buffer of compression 2 assembled with a protective rubber cover 3.
As the damping element of a rack serves the telescopic shock-absorber of double action.
The lower ends of damping racks are fixed by bolts on levers of a beam of a back suspension bracket.
The top ends of damping racks are attached to a body through rubber pillows.
Naves of back wheels are established on two-row ball bearings.
The angles of installation of back wheels are set structurally and in operation are not regulated. Only control of a condition of a back suspension bracket on the angles of installation is possible (see. "Check and adjustment of angles of installation of wheels").
