6.1.1. Features of a design
Install dry one-disk coupling with the central diaphragm spring on the Chery Amulet cars.

Press the disk 1 (fig. 6.1) is mounted in the steel cast casing 3 attached by six bolts to a bent shaft of the engine.

The conducted disk 1 (fig. 6.2) is established on vents of a main shaft of the transmission and clamped by a diaphragm spring 2 (see fig. 6.1) between a flywheel 2 (see fig. 6.2), attached by nine bolts to a casing 3 (see fig. 6.1) couplings, and a press disk 1.

Coupling switching off drive hummock. The free shoulder of the lever 3 (fig. 6.3) of switching off of coupling is influenced by a cable of 1 drive...
... which second end is fixed on the coupling pedal lever. The lever 3 turns the fork installed in the transmission which, in turn, via the bearing of switching off of coupling moves...
... the coupling switching off rod (is shown on a photo an arrow) passing in a hollow main shaft of the transmission.
The rod of switching off of coupling influences the thrust bearing (is shown on photos an arrow at taken for descriptive reasons a flywheel and the conducted clutch plate) fixed by the fixing spring on petals of a press diaphragm spring.
For compensation of wear of overlays of the conducted clutch plate and increase in length of a cable of the drive owing to its pulling in operation adjustment of length of a cover of a cable is provided by the adjusting plug 2 (see fig. 6.3) installed on the lower end of a cable (see. "Adjustment of the drive of switching off of coupling").
Useful tips
In order that coupling served long and smoothly, do not hold constantly a leg on a coupling pedal. This addiction is got often during driving instruction in driving schools for fear not to manage to switch off coupling during a car stop. Besides bystry fatigue of the leg which is all the time over a pedal, coupling appears though a little, but is squeezed out, and the conducted disk at the same time revolves and wears out. For the same reason we do not recommend to keep long coupling in the switched-off state (for example, in traffic jams). If it is not necessary to start at once, to include neutral position of the transmission better and to release a pedal.
Pro-slipping of coupling can easily be defined by a tachometer. If during the movement by sharp pressing an accelerator pedal turns sharply grow, and then fall a little and the car begins to accelerate, coupling demands repair.
